The custody battle between Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis and her ex, Thomas Ravenel, has reached an all-new level of nasty. The former couple appeared in a Charleston County court earlier this week, and the allegations they hurled against each other were shocking.
According to The Daily Mail, Dennis and Ravenel were in court because he had petitioned to deny her “the right to compel him to produce material relating to any events before June 30, 2017.”

That is the date of the former couple’s original settlement where the court granted Ravenel full custody of their two children – Kenzie, 4, and Saint, 3. Dennis has requested that Ravenel turn over all of his financial, social media, cell phone, and medical records dating back to January 1, 2015, because of sexual assault allegations against him. And, despite Ravenel’s objection, the judge ruled in favor of Dennis.
This means that Ravenel must hand over all of the requested records that could include incriminating communication between Ravenel and the couple’s former nanny Dawn Ledwell, one of the women accusing Ravenel of assault.
Ravenel must also turn over anything related to the $200,000 payment he gave former Tinder date Ashley Perkins after he allegedly assaulted her in December 2015. Dennis wants access to the non-disclosure agreement Ravenel made Perkins sign after the payoff.
Ravenel and Dennis did not acknowledge each other as they left the courthouse, but the allegations each one made against the other in their court documents are jaw-dropping.
Dennis claims in her petition for custody that Ravenel has “a personality disorder” that caused him to sexually assault two women. She also believes that Ravenel was under the influence of drugs and alcohol when he assaulted the nanny, and there are text messages to prove it. Apparently, Ravenel apologized for his behavior via text, and that’s why Dennis wants access to Ravenel’s records from the past four years.
Dennis also claims that Ravenel told her “he had been afraid he would be charged with rape, and that he would not do well in going back to prison.” The reality star also says her baby daddy has anger management issues and is narcissistic, and she has accused him of skewing the results of drug tests that the court ordered with the original custody agreement.

Ravenel fired back with his own claims against Dennis, including a history of mental health problems like Bipolar disorder, OCD, ADD, kleptomania, and self-mutilation. He also accused Dennis of using synthetic urine to pass her drug tests, and says she is lying about being drug-free.
Thomas Ravenel also accused Kathryn Dennis of wanting full custody of their kids for a storyline on Southern Charm, not because she believes it is in their best interest.
